Yes. We offer a range of in-house lab testing for faster results and more convenient care. Common in-house tests include:
Hemoglobin A1c (diabetes monitoring)
Rapid Molecular strep, Covid and influenza tests
Urinalysis and urine pregnancy tests
H-Pylori
Basic point-of-care tests (glucose, hemoglobin)
For specialized tests (advanced hormonal panels, detailed infectious disease panels, certain pathology tests), we may send samples to an external reference laboratory; we coordinate that for you and follow up with results and treatment recommendations.
If you need a specific test, call our office or mention it when booking your appointment so we can confirm availability and whether any preparation (fasting, medication adjustments) is required.

Yes we offer same-day sick visits for acute illnesses like the flu, strep, covid, and minor injuries for patients in Whitesboro, Collinsville, and the Lake Texoma area. Please call our office at 903-677-4370 ahead of time to secure an open slot.

Yes. Hometown Primary Care and Wellness offers sports physicals for student-athletes of all ages. Our sports physicals include:
Review of medical history (past illnesses, surgeries, medications, allergies)
Focused musculoskeletal and cardiovascular exam
Assessment of concussion history and risk factors
Clearance determination and documentation required by schools or leagues
Recommendations for any follow-up testing or specialty referrals if needed
What to bring:
Completed school or league forms (if available)
List of current medications and any chronic conditions
Wearing comfortable clothing or shorts for a brief physical exam
